Together We Thrive

July 4, 2026 marks a historic milestone — our nation’s 250th anniversary!  This milestone, occurring in 2026, is a time for the nation to reflect on its history, celebrate its achievements, and look towards the future.  These efforts aim to inspire a renewed sense of national pride and unity, encouraging participation from all Americans in sharing their stories and perspectives.

What better way to honor this monumental occasion than by showing the true spirit of Rotary in action?

Our District 5495 Goal: 250 impactful service projects completed during the 2025–2026 Rotary year.  We’ve Got This — Together! One project at a time!

Four Peaks Rotary Club Goal:  The district goal of 250 projects equates to four Club Projects during 2025-2026.  Follow us along our project journey as we strive to achieve our goal set by President Nick Proctor.

With our collective energy, passion, and purpose, it’s a chance to serve with heart, celebrate with joy, and add a big dose of FUN to the values we cherish demonstrating "Service Above Self."

Together We Thrive — which invites us to see with shared vision, serve with unity, and grow stronger together through three guiding pillars:
  • Together We See – With shared vision and a united direction, we elevate the impact of our clubs and our service.
  • Together We Do – Through collaboration and meaningful projects, we transform lives and build lasting partnerships.
  • Together We Thrive – As we innovate, grow, and strengthen our clubs, we inspire a new generation of Rotarians for life and deepen our own joy in service.

Project #2:  McDowell Mountain Elementary School Sun Shelter

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, Four Peaks Rotary rolled up its sleeves and transformed the landscape at Fountain Hills Unified High School by installing a beautiful new gazebo. This shaded resting area provides a much-needed retreat from the sun for educators, staff, and students—a place to recharge, reflect, or connect outdoors. The project demonstrates how small changes can make a big impact.

Project #3:  Youth Garden Refresh

Starting in July, and continuing in August and October 2025, the Falcon Youth Garden project will unfold throughout the summer, bringing new life and energy to the garden space just in time for students’ return in the fall. By late autumn, little sprouts will begin to emerge — the first signs of a thriving learning garden once again full of promise.

Our goal is to transform the area into a dynamic outdoor educational classroom that inspires curiosity and cultivates a love for nature, science, and sustainability.  The original was installed by the Noon Kiwanis in 2022.  This project is bringing community together, as when we partner we all "thrive" together.   Recently, the Fountain Hills Rotary Club has contributed to fund our goal. We thank "all" who are participating to bring this garden to life!

The Garden "Refresh" sustainable project is led by Rotarian Co-Chairs Debbie Romano and Paul Janis (Board of Director), whose leadership is bringing this space to a living space for all to benefit.

Project Community Leaders:  Four Peaks Rotary, Noon Kiwanis, Fountain HIlls Community Gardeners, McDowell Mountain Elementary School Principals, Teachers, Staff, Librarian and Students.

Sponsors and Donors: Pauls Ace Hardware, Tractor Supply, Four Peaks & Fountain Hills Rotary, Fountain Hills Community Foundation, Cox Charities.
